The platinum thermal resistance bulb is used to the measurement and monitoring for exhaust gas and steam temperatures of the main engine of a ship. This resistance element, provided as a unit by depositing platinum wires and internal conductors are to aluminum oxide bobbin, matches a thermocouple in mechanical strength.
