Capacitance Type Level Switch ALN/ST Series

The capacitance type level switch detects level of any kind of
materials (powder, granule, lump, liquid, paste, bubble, etc.)
More than 1,000 types of electrode shapes and special circuits
are available to cover many different applications.

Operating Principles

It detects the variations of capacitance between
main electrode and tank wall or grounding electrode.
As the level in the tank rises, the capacitance value increases, which makes an output contact when it exceeds the preset value.
